The Workus Project
About the Workus Project
In 2007, Alberta Workers’ Health Centre created the WORKUS Project, a province wide action research project that exposed the hidden epidemic of work-related illnesses and chronic workplace ailments.
The Workus project focused on the notion that there is power in sharing worker stories. The original goals of the Workus Project have evolved into other means of collecting and sharing stories with the aim of using stories to provide information, and to provoke discussion and change.
